Our aim is to ensure that our members get as much as they can out of their later years by keeping well and enjoying life. For the benefit of new readers, Healthy Ageing now has eight areas of focus, our ‘bubbles’ (Nutrition, Physical Activity, Sleep & Relaxation, Mental Stimulation, Body Matters, Fun & Laughter, Interaction with People and Members Suggestions) and we are encouraged to fit in as many of these as possible into our daily lives (and into our meetings).Like many other groups, we experienced a real reduction in membership after lockdown, but I’m very happy to say that things are now looking up.
